Terms of Service

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must provide accurate signup details (real email, real name if you complete the profile).
• One account per person. Don't share accounts.

FirstDataJob is a job-discovery tool for early-career data professionals. The Service includes:

• Aggregated job listings from third-party sources (SEEK, JSearch, public ATS boards). We don't control these listings and can't guarantee they're current, accurate, or that the employer is still hiring.
• AI-generated match scores between your resume and job postings. Match scores are an aid, not a guarantee of fit.
• Interview preparation content authored by us, plus (on the Pro plan) a messaging channel with Atikant for follow-up questions.
• Optional one-off paid services: Resume Review and Consulting Calls.

We do notguarantee that you'll get a job, an interview, or any specific outcome from using the Service.

Pro is offered in two billing cycles:

• Monthly — A$19, billed every month
• Quarterly — A$49, billed every 3 months

By subscribing, you agree that:

• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime via the Manage subscription link in your account (Stripe Customer Portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep Pro access until then.
• If a renewal payment fails, we'll retry per Stripe's standard schedule. If it still fails, your account drops to Free.
• Prices may change. We'll give you at least 14 days' notice by email before any price change affects your renewal.

Pro accounts include a quota of credits for sending messages in the Interview Prep section:

• 10 credits per billing term, shared across all prep sections and roles.
• Each user-sent message costs 1 credit. Replies from Atikant don't cost credits.
• Credits reset to 10 at the start of each new billing term.
• Unused credits don't roll over and have no cash value.
• We reply to prep messages within 2 business daysin most cases, but don't guarantee response times.

We sell Resume Review (A$11) and 30-minute Consulting Calls (A$29) as standalone purchases.

• Resume Review: you submit a target role + job URL + your resume. Atikant produces a tailored version (Word + PDF) within 3 business daysand uploads it to your order page. You'll receive an email when it's ready.
• Consulting Call: a 30-minute one-on-one call with Atikant on a topic you choose at booking. After purchase, you pick your slot from the Consulting Call page inside FirstDataJob (Dashboard → Premium). Pro Quarterly members redeeming a free-credit booking arrange it by email with hello@firstdatajob.com.
• These are not subscriptions — each purchase is a one-time charge with no recurring billing.

All refunds are processed manually.There's no automated refund flow in FirstDataJob — you request, we review, we issue. Email hello@firstdatajob.com with your order details (Stripe receipt number or order ID) and we'll respond within 1 business day.

For Pro subscriptions:

• Full refund of the most recent charge if you request it within 7 daysof that charge AND haven't (a) sent any prep messages in the current term OR (b) redeemed any free credits (Resume Review or Consulting Call) in the current term.
• Partial refundif you've already redeemed a free credit: refund of charge minus the listed value of any redeemed perks (A$11 per Resume Review redemption, A$29 per Consulting Call redemption).
• No refund of past completed billing terms.
• You can cancel anytime to stop future charges — see Section 3.

For one-off products:

• Full refund if you request it before work begins (within 4 hours of purchase for Resume Review, before call booking for Consulting Call).
• Partial refundif work has started but the deliverable isn't delivered, prorated to time spent.
• No refund once the Resume Review file has been uploaded to your order page or the Consulting Call has been held.

Nothing in this section limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (or comparable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction) for major failures of the service. To request a refund, email hello@firstdatajob.com within 14 days of purchase with your Stripe receipt or order ID.

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download job listings or any other content from the Service
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute prep content, resume templates, or any paid deliverable
• Use the prep messaging channel for anything other than good-faith interview preparation questions (no general career counselling, abuse, harassment, or spam)
• Attempt to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Submit content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or someone else's resume without their permission
• Create multiple accounts to bypass free-plan limits

We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund.

You keep ownership of your resume, application notes, and prep messages. By uploading them, you grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you (see the Privacy Policy for details).

Job listings shown on FirstDataJobare sourced from third parties. We don't verify them and aren't responsible for the employer, the role, the application process, or any interaction you have after clicking through to their site.

We aim to keep the Service running, but offer no uptime guarantee. We may take it offline for maintenance, updates, or due to issues with our hosting providers. We may also change or remove features at any time.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement).

Our total liability to you, for any claim arising from your use of the Service, is capped at the amount you've paid us in the 12 monthspreceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

You can delete your account anytime by emailing hello@firstdatajob.com (in-app deletion is on the roadmap). We may terminate your account for breach of these terms or non-payment. On termination, access to Pro features ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email and/or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence says otherwise.
